Whether you prefer your Fender or Squier Stratocaster set up with a floating tremolo or pinned back more like a hard tail, it is very simple to adjust the tension which gives you the variety of feels. Adding one or two tremolo springs can give you a much more solid feeling bridge and tremolo action. Many Strats are shipped with just three trem springs - this is fine for some players, but you might well need to go up to four or five, especially if you heavier gauge strings. However many you use, you should be going for a symmetrical, evenly spaced arrangement of springs.
A recent customer of this store solved a wobbly trem problem, here's what he had to say:
"Parts came super fast, 5 spring stratocaster trem is now SOLID".
